Performance Foodservice, a leader in food distribution across the nation, is seeking a motivated Sales Representative for our operations in Menomonie, Wisconsin. This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in expanding our reach in the rapidly growing food and beverage sector. As a part of our dynamic sales team, you will be crucial in fostering relationships with both new and existing clients, ensuring they receive top-tier service and access to our extensive product line of over 150,000 food and related products. Develop and nurture relationships with current and prospective customers in the food service industry. Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs. Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media. Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services. Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections. Collaborate with team members to achieve better results. Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share it with internal teams. Proven ability to negotiate and close deals. Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure. Strong organizational and time management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Sales Management certification preferred but not required. Valid driver’s license as this position requires occasional travel.
