CHR.\nIn Customer/Carrier engineering we build and maintain
experiences that span signup, search, booking, tracking, and
payments that are used every day by CHR's 75,000+ carrier partners
to expedite commerce across the world. Your solutions will help
drive growth and efficiency for our carriers and CHR. \nAs a
Principal Software Engineer, you'll have the ability to influence
the roadmap working with cross-functional partners prioritizing for
reliability and overall carrier experience. In addition, the role
is responsible for impacting and continuously improving our
engineering culture, process and mentoring other engineers across
the organization. If you are an experienced software engineer who

Eden Prairie/Minneapolis, Seattle, Kansas City or
Chicago.\nResponsibilities: \n\n* Collaborating on a
cross-functional team of product managers, UX designers, data
scientists, and engineers to design and deliver exceptional
products\n* Building efficient and reusable UI components and
architecting reliable, performant, and scalable solutions\n*
Encourage an environment of innovation with an entrepreneurial
mindset\n* Follow data-driven approaches to conducting experiments
and iterating on features\n* Communicating complex ideas
effectively and understanding tradeoffs in achieving product and
goals\n* Create and maintain architectural vision, diagrams, and
technical documentation\n* Provide technical guidance and
mentorship to engineering teams\n* Create and maintain positive,
productive working partnerships and relationships with multiple
engineering teams and divisions\n* Research and adopt new
engineering tools, technologies, and processes\nRequired
Qualifications:\n\n* 8+ years of experience designing and driving
implementation of large-scale software products or services that
span multiple systems\n* Experience with modern development
languages (ex. .Net CORE, C#, Java)\n* Experience with database
objects in relational (ex. MS SQL, Oracle) and non-relational
databases (ex. MongoDB, Elastic, Cosmos)\n* Experience with
microservice architecture, CQRS, event driven and eventually
consistent system design patterns and system flows\n* Experience
with data streaming architecture and frameworks (Kafka, ESB)\n*
Experience establishing testing patterns, acceptance testing
criteria, and reviewing others' automated tests\n* Experience with
version control systems (ex. GIT, GITHub, TFS, etc.)\n* Experience
with CI/CD continuous integration / continuous deployment
practices\n* Experience building cloud native applications and
services (ex. Azure, AWS, GCP)\n* Experience with end-to-end
feature development including backend/API engineering\n* Strong
analytical and communication skills; ability to communicate complex
ideas effectively\n* Proven track record of effectively delivering
results in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple
priorities\n* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software
Engineering, or MIS; or, 4 years of equivalent work experience and
a high school diploma/GED\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n* In-depth
knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and modern JavaScript libraries
and tooling (e.g., React, Webpack)\n* Robust design and UX/product
sensibilities\n* Experience working on large-scale open source or
inner source software development\n* Contributions to open-source
projects, publicly available frameworks and/or patents\n* Values a
