actuarial modeling to identify statistical findings and

Responsibilities:
- Perform quantitative analysis and model development on diverse
data analytics-focused projects, with the goal of identifying
actionable insights for clients
- Design and run complex data programs
- Understand and contribute to building pipelines of predictive
ML models in R and Python
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with our broader
product team within a coding environment, while adhering to model
development and maintenance best practices
- Prepare information for clients, build reports, and assist with
project scheduling and coordination of tasks
- Develop strategic working relationships with clients
- Execute creative problem solving and critical thinking on the

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (STEM field) or equivalent experience
- Passed a minimum of 1 or more Actuarial exams or equivalent
experience
- 4+ years of experience performing qualitative and/or
quantitative analysis
- 2+ years of experience with the developing and deploying
statistical models in a business setting
- 2+ years of experience working with a coding language (e.g., R,
Python, VBA)
- 2+ years of experience with MS Excel, including the ability to
work with formulas, calculations, charts, graphs Preferred
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics,
Data Science, or related field or nearly qualified Actuary
- 3+ years of consultancy and/or actuarial industry
experience
- Customer-facing experience, including communication of results
and ad-hoc client support requests
- Solid technical aptitude, such as programming experience with
other languages/platforms including: SAS, SQL, DataBricks
- Proven flexibility to handle changing
priorities/requirements/deadlines Please note you must currently be

Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $82,100
to $146,900. The salary range for Connecticut/Nevada/New York City
residents is $90,500 to $161,600. Pay is based on several factors
including but not limited to education, work experience,
certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group
