This role is responsible for building and maintaining consolidated financial reporting models, providing insights into monthly and real time trends in addition to creating and supporting presentations and materials for executive leadership. This role has a front row seat to the full financial picture of the OptumRx Pharmacy Services business and will provide critical and timely insights to drive business decisions. Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop, perform and manage the analyses of business and financial metrics as well as performance measures
• Develop and maintain financial reports to clearly communicate actual results, forecasted performance, and variances to plan, forecast and budget
• Coordinate key corporate deliverables across the businesses within OptumRx Pharmacy Services
• Work closely with executive leaders to develop, recommend and establish strategies, plans, and processes to improve profitability and cost efficiencies
• Produce clear, well-formatted reports that communicate a clear, compelling message for their stakeholders

  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 3+ years of financial and/or accounting experience -
  • Proven experience driving business performance in a high growth environment
  • Prior work experience anticipating accounting, financial reporting, forecasting and operational issues, assessing their implications and developing and implementing an appropriate action plan
  • Experience working collaboratively and influence across a matrix environment to drive revenue enhancement and expense management initiatives
  • Intermediate level experience with Microsoft Excel
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • MBA or CPA
    • Proficient Hyperion Essbase -
    • Proficient in SQL and Microsoft Access
