Optum, you will partner with business leaders, enterprise
architects, and software delivery leadership to drive program
architecture within our Clinical Domain. You will partner with
product managers, business SMEs, and technology stakeholders to
design architect technology solutions. You will drive efforts to
coordinate and forge consensus across our business and technology
stakeholder group while operating with a sense of urgency. The
individual will focus on converting requirements into the
architecture and design that ultimately constitutes the blueprint
for the solution by working with cross functional technical and
business teams. Defines modern architecture patterns and has
experience in platform-based solutions, creates reference
architecture, pattern guidelines, and product specifications. Works
with the lead enterprise architect to ensure proposed solutions are
in alignment with the enterprise strategic roadmaps and reference
architecture established by enterprise architect and the solutions
complies with established enterprise architecture principles.
Define technical product strategy, blueprints, and evangelize
strategy across business, product, delivery, and cross functional
line of business enterprise architects. Get involved across many
aspects of architecture, design, build, engineering and
implementation of technical solutions and capabilities providing
technical leadership. Responsible for communicating overall
architecture vision, technical strategies, and trade-offs across
various levels in the organization to gain buy-in. Will provide
recommendations and technical guidance to improve performance,
reliability, and reusability within the constraints of budget,
resource, and business dependencies. You'll enjoy the flexibility
to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some
tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities: Define product
technical strategy and reference architecture by working with
Technical Product Managers, Product Owners, Business Leaders, and
Delivery Leaders Work with clinical product leaders to build
best-in-class product and technology solutions in the marketplace
by leading and participating in technology planning, design,
development, and implementation of the population health and care
management components of the technology solution Contribute to the
product roadmap for the product; leads architectural viewpoint in
the Product Governance platform to synchronize product solutions
with Product, Engineering, and Architecture teams Bring people
together to meet common goals using facilitation, negotiation, and
influencing skills Develops and documents technical workflow in
collaboration with Tech Product Owners, identify systems
requirements, system impact analysis, systems design, process
analysis to provide efficient, cost-effective solutions Assess
current state process, identify business paint points, and document
the current state technical landscape for clinical systems Define
and document current, transition, and target state product
architecture Collaborate with cross functional enterprise
architects from different line of business, platform, delivery
leaders to Conduct high level data analysis to identify data pain
points for source to target solutions Define architecture models to
outline how products, operations and systems interoperate within
the clinical organization Create product technical specifications
for solutions Functions as a liaison to Business and IT partners to
gain a broad understanding of industry trends and innovations, and
their impact on technology Conduct proof of concept (POC) and
develop prototype for products to gain alignment on solutions
across all stakeholders Ownership of E2E solution: Problem
identification, Solution Approach, Detailed solution architecture
(including integration architecture, non-functional aspects of
solution design e.g., scalability, performance, maintainability,
security etc., data architecture e.g., conceptual ERDs, Data Flows.
Ability to engage and influence both business and technology teams
to drive capability blueprinting, feature mapping, planning and
task estimation to support top priorities. Help the technical teams
to make them understand the business significance and the
functionality and interact with cross teams to sync up the
requirement Conducts root cause analyses, gathering data to
pinpoint problem areas on which to focus, validating that the
analysis is data driven, recommending, and implementing solutions
and evaluating those results, and implementing controls to monitor
consistent use of the solution Must effectively partner with
internal UHC, ECS, Optum Health and Optum Technology stakeholders
Uses innovative approach to solving problems and champions
innovation in product solutions and design You'll be rewarded and

you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's
Degree in Computer Science, Systems Management, or equivalent
experience 5 years of experience in a variety of IT positions 5
years of IT Solution Architecture, Systems Integration or
Enterprise Architecture experience 5 years of experience with
systems analysis, design, coding, and testing at all levels 5 years
of experience creating UML diagrams and working knowledge of
modeling tools such as draw.io and Visio 3 years of experience
designing or developing solutions in platform for federated inner
source code model 3 years of experience leading JAD/discovery
sessions with a variety of business and technology stakeholders
Experience with software development frameworks as Less, Scale,
Agile methodologies Technical knowledge of Camunda, Angular/ React,
REST, GRAPHQL, Kafka, Event driven architecture, PostgreSQL, AI/ML
concepts Experience facilitating and leading solution design and
architecture, aligning and influencing stakeholders on the
solutions at all levels Preferred Qualifications: 3 years of
experience creating solution for cloud and hybrid platform Hands on
experience in Microservices architecture, Cloud Native development,
Spring Boot, Camunda, Git, Angular/ React, REST, GRAPHQL, JSON,
Azure Understanding of clinical products and services Understanding
of Clinical Management domains (Utilization Management and Care
Management) Product Design & Modeling Knowledge of EDI, HL7, FHIR,
Clinical Taxonomies Clinical Background, including analyzing
clinical workflow processes utilizing continuous process
improvement methodologies to ensure the delivery of excellence in
patient care Possess solid mental agility and critical
thinking/analytical skills, and be adaptable to an ever-changing
environment Able to self-manage and has the aptitude to be hands on
deck for performing solution design, can be hands-on to conduct
proof of concept and create product prototypes Must have excellent
interpersonal skills, is a team player, collaborator, be proactive,

York City Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents
is $82,100 to $146,900. The salary range for Connecticut/Nevada/New
York City residents is $90,500 to $161,600. Pay is based on several
factors including but not limited to education, work experience,
certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group
