may also include world travel.Job DescriptionPrimary Objective:
Responsible for creating and improving our supply chain reports and
tools. Providing analytics and insights to drive business decision
and following up with our supply chain team to ensure performance
of decision. Also responsible for maintaining our material master
data and synchronizing data between MTS and our vendors and playing
a large role in our continuous improvement efforts.Major Areas of
Accountability:Support the Supply Chain Department with Reporting
and Data Analysis:Run daily, weekly, and monthly Reports and
distribute or make accessible to the teamAnalyze data and provide
insights and create slide decks for standard staff meetingsRecord
action items and work with the team to ensure follow-up between
meetingsCreate and maintain work instructions and procedures in our
quality management systemWork with IT to automate reporting and
distributionMaintain SharePoint with metrics data and
reportingSynchronize Vendor data to MTS material masterSend out
data collection and input forms to maintain and upload vendor lead
times and country of originSupport the team with our vendor open
order report (VOOR) and PO delivery date changesSupport the team
with annual processes. Examples cost roll, taxonomy, conflict of
minerals, spend data upload, and ESG.Maintain Material Master
DataMaintain A, B, C inventory codesWork with Buyers and planners
to maintain Purchasing and planning codesPerform mass
uploadsParticipate and be part of our Working Capital team
(inventory and forecasting) to analyze, and optimize our material
master settings (MoQ, safety stock, minimum, round, forecasting,
etc,)Continuous ImprovementGo through our internal green/yellow
belt trainingLead kaizens to improve our supply chain
processesSupport team members and initiatives in understanding
results, pulling data, analyzing information and processes, and
continuously driving improvementsCollaborate with IT to automate
and improve reportingCollaborate with the supply chain to improve
processes, automate reporting, and develop dash
boardsQualificationsMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in
business or supply chain, Engineering or related majorsStrong
Analytical skills - mathematics and statistics in collecting and
interpreting quantitative data.Strong Excel experienceStrong
communication and interpersonal skills.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in planning or purchasing in a manufacturing environment
preferredExperience with MRP systems required, SAP experience
