• Extract, analyze, aggregate, and interpret quantitative data
• Perform quantitative analysis of Actuarial, financial, utilization and costs data
• Design and run complex data programs
• Develop and review ad hoc exhibits based on detailed data sets
• Present summary and claim-level analytics to health plan leaders
• Assist in the development and preparation of quarterly suite of historical claims reports
• Maintain and improve robust QA process to ensure financial accuracy

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 1+ years of experience working in a corporate environment including experience collecting, analyzing, and summarizing qualitative/quantitative data
  • Expertise working with formulas, calculations, charts, graphs in MS Excel

    • Passed 2 or more Actuarial exams
    • 1+ years of SQL, SAS and/or VBA experience
    • Experience working in finance or the health care industry
    • Experience and/or exposure with health care claims (i.e. understanding of costs, expected claims, diagnosis codes, procedure codes)
    • Experience in large file transfers and/or manipulations
    • Experience in handling various file formats (JSON, csv, xls, delimited text files)
    • Experience and/or exposure to predictive modeling, clustering, machine learning, etc
    • Proficiency using MS Access, R, Python, Tableau, Power BI

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary/hourly range for Colorado residents is $66,100 to $118,300. The salary/hourly range for Connecticut/Nevada residents is $72,800 to $129,900.
