Consultant, Strategy & Growth works with a Senior Director as the
primary leads supporting highly complex, long-term Optum-health
system enterprise partnerships. -The Senior Consultant serves as
the Program Manager for enterprise partnerships and provides
project management support for the services identified in the
partnership agreement. -The Senior Consultant will support the
development of individual initiatives roadmaps, be responsible for
the quality of delivery against those roadmaps, and help cultivate
relationships with the partner program management teams. -The
Senior Consultant structures and conducts analysis and creates
content for partnership deliverables largely independently and
contributes to assisting more junior team members with their
responsibilities. This role is a major contributor to team problem
solving across full scope of each partnership. The Senior
Consultant will also lead or participate in various Strategy &
Growth practice development projects, proactively anticipate
challenges and risks in both own area and those of junior staff,
make sound adjustments/recommendations to address issues, and play
an active role in improving business processes, knowledge
management, etc.You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from
anywhere within United States as you take on some tough
challenges.Primary Responsibilities:
- Primary program/project management for high-complexity,
multi-workstream enterprise partnerships -
- Ability to support the development of roadmaps for identified
strategic needs and support the development and communication of
value proposition for key stakeholders -
- Cultivate relationships and trust with partner program/project
management cohorts -
- Structure approach/analysis for roadmaps largely independently
and contribute to assisting more junior team members with their
responsibilities
- Lead client communications around own workstream and sometimes
those of more junior team members -
- Major contributor to team problem solving across full scope of
partnership
- Able to structure and drive team problem solving sessions

- Establish self as knowledgeable/credible on topics
- Knowledgeable on Optum data sets and tools and carries
foundational understanding of health care industry dynamics
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Health Care research,
tools, and assets used by the practice to support client work
- Establish own timeline for own workstream and assist junior
staff, in accordance with overall partnership requirements
- Lead or participate in various practice development
projects
- Provide active role in improving business processes, knowledge
management, etc. within the practice
- Communicates effectively and accurately in writing and verbally
to prospects, members and other team membersYou'll be rewarded and

- Relevant Advanced Degree (MBA/MPH/MHA etc.) with 1+ years of
consulting experience -OR- Undergraduate Degree with 4+ years of
consulting experience
- 2+ years of experience in management and/or strategy
consulting
- Experienced in Quantitative/Qualitative Analytic execution and
synthesis
- Client relationship management experience
- Project management experience
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite - Word, PowerPoint, Excel
- Willingness to travel domestically, up to 60%-80%

- Professional experience working in healthcare
- Management consulting firm experience
- Experience conducting strategy projects
- Experience working in and successfully navigating a matrixed

- Ability to participate in cross-functional teams
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate challenges and provide
solutions

range for Colorado residents is $82,100 to $142,900. The salary
range for Connecticut/Nevada residents is $90,500 to $161,600. Pay
is based on several factors including but not limited to education,
work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary,
