Eden Prairie, MN, you will have the flexibility to telecommute* as
you take on some tough challenges. -Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide support for the development of monthly reserve
estimates and medical expense forecasts
- Design/maintain actuarial reports and analytics
- Assist with management of a SQL database for claims,
membership, utilization, and financial results
- Assist with non-standard requests, ad-hoc analyses, and review
of model assumptions and outputs
- Collaborate across Actuarial and HCE team and other departments
within OptumHealth
- Compile various financial reports and communicate findings
across the Actuarial teamAre you ready to use your creativity to

in.Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Completion of at least 2 Actuarial exams
- 2+ years of experience working in a corporate environment
including experience collecting, analyzing, and summarizing
qualitative /quantitative data
- Expertise in MS Excel working with formulas, calculations,
charts, graphs
- Ability to quickly learn and use computer software tools
effectively
- Ability to work a hybrid work model; 3 days in the office, 2
days from homePreferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in finance or the health care industry
- Experience in coding (SQL, SAS and/or VBA)To protect the health
