If you---re a team player who is looking for a sense of accomplishment and a place to call home then DDL is the place for you Job Summary: The primary role of the Maintenance Technician is to support DDL---s facilities by maintaining and repairing equipment and procuring supplies, parts and services as necessary. Essential Job Functions: Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on test equipment. Assist Facilities and Maintenance Supervisor with working with outside service providers and vendors. Assist Facilities and Maintenance Supervisor with maintaining a reasonable inventory of parts and supplies. Installation and qualification of new or used equipment. Ability to working overtime, after normal work hours or weekends, due to the unpredictability of mechanical systems. Other duties as assigned Minimum Requirements: Minimum Education Requirements: Two year technical degree in HVAC or similar Prior Employment Experience: 3 --- 5 years HVAC experience Other Skills (computer, language, etc.): Understanding of facilities and maintenance concepts Advanced environmental chamber functionality Blueprint reading EPA certified to handle refrigerant Microsoft office Competencies Required for this Position: Creativity Detail Oriented Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities Self-motivated / self-directed Team player Mechanical aptitude Strong problem-solving skills Customer service oriented Core Values: INTEGRITY & CREDIBILITY --- We openly model honesty, courage, and accountability.
