  • Execution and ongoing maintenance of the current suite of Optum Compliance data analytics and reporting within Excel and related reporting tools
  • Collaborate in the development of innovative analytic solutions, create actionable insights, and drive better decisions and performance to help achieve compliance and business objectives
  • Work independently to identify reporting metrics and data analytics to support the broader Optum Compliance Program
  • Establish a deep understanding of the business and collaborate with current compliance reporting SMEs, compliance program leads and business partners to shape the reporting solutions needed
  • Develop Excel, Access, Tableau, PowerBI and related automated reporting solutions as needed to support the broader compliance program
  • Support operational analytics and metrics, process improvement data deep dive and identification of new opportunities for increases in efficiencies and performance
  • Report and present data in a variety of formats (charts, graphs, tables) in a manner that is consumable for non-technical compliance and business partners
  • Update job knowledge by studying state-of-the-are development tools, programing techniques, and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks
  • Identify and help mitigate risks to the data
  • Understanding data solutions through the general knowledge and pathway of our diverse Optum businesses through collaboration with compliance SMEs and creative problem solving
  • Self-starter able to work independently and prioritize work to meet deadlines

    • Undergraduate degree or equivalent
    • 1+ years of experience working with data visualization tools (PowerBI, Qlik, Domo or similar reporting software)
    • 1+ years of experience working on ETL tools (Alteryx, SSIS, SAS, Excel VBA)
    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint and WordPreferred Qualifications:
      • Experience utilizing SQL and/or relational database tools (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or similar databases)
      • Experience with eGRC and reporting capabilities within the various eGRC modules
      • Experience with Healthcare domain knowledge (i.e. understanding claims, utilization management and related member and provider data)
