This is a place like no other and where you'll do your life's best work.(sm) As a Business Process Consultant for Optum360, you will contribute directly to patient experience related project initiatives, which may include technology implementations and interoperability plans, advanced analytics and patient engagement measurement, and working with operational leadership to stand-up new services and re-configuring existing to alter and improve the patient experience. In this provider-facing line of business, you will play a lead role in representing the Patient Experience team in growth conversations with potential partners and will have the ability to describe and advocate for the Patient Experience vision. You will provide an expert level of revenue cycle, project management and analytical skills that will produce world class results within the Patient Experience team. Primary Responsibilities: * Play a lead role on client projects * Evaluate and analyze client / partner data to understand trends that could be pertinent to patient experience initiatives, mission, and vision * Provide expert level revenue cycle guidance and support to client / partner during training, implementation and other activities * Identify client / partner specific process improvement and needs related to the patient experience and optimizing the patient experience solution set * Development of workflow mapping diagrams * Collaborate with vendors and internal content and training delivery teams to plan and execute end-user training to client / partner staff in fast pace settings such as hospitals, clinics and other healthcare facilities * Willingness and ability to learn new skills and technology driven tools * Client / Partner end-user training * Workflow assessments for hospitals, physician practices, clinics and other healthcare facilities * Revenue cycle and general business process improvement / redesign * Perform other duties as assigned by management You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or related area * 5+ years of experience in a consulting (client facing) role working directly with providers (hospital, clinic, physician, etc.) * 5+ years of healthcare operations and/or revenue cycle experience * 3+ years of experience analyzing, summarizing, and presenting data; strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Advanced proficiency using MS Excel (e.g., complex conditional formulas, nested formulas, V-lookups, pivot tables, etc.) * Intermediate or better proficiency using MS Word (must be able to create and edit documents) * Intermediate or better proficiency using MS PowerPoint (must be able to create and edit presentations) * Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced business environment where adherence to strict processes and deadline * Excellent time / project management, problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills; must be able to work independently, and be comfortable dealing with ambiguity * Must be able to probe, analyze, synthesize and articulate complex subject matter so it can be easily understood * Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to speak clearly and concisely, conveying complex or technical information in a manner that others can understand, as well as ability to understand and interpret complex information from others coupled with extremely strong attention to detail Preferred Qualifications: * Strong preference for experience in patient access systems for provider organizations * Epic Certified * Preferred advanced skills in MS Word and MS Excel * Experience using MS Visio * Project Management experience * Excellent presentation skills * Preferred Advanced data analytics skills, such as SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or other reporting engines * Ability to lead, direct and motivate others * Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality * Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule * A high degree of self-motivation, versatility and flexibility * Team-oriented Careers with Optum.
