This is a 1.0 FTE (80 hours per 2 weeks) position. The Technologist provides services to patients and physicians through the creation of high-quality diagnostic imaging, provides quality age-appropriate patient care according to established standards of practice, and works collaboratively with all members of the health care team. The technologist is responsible for performing the responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements (ARRT).ResponsibilitiesMaintains patient carePerforms examinationsIdentifies relevant data from images accuratelyCommunicates pertinent data clearly to the appropriate health care professionalEnsures patient safety and emergency preparednessDocuments patient informationEnsures proper film identification on all imagesAccurately completes computer functions-edits, status changes, loggingAccurate film marking and jacket preparationAchieves quality diagnostic images by use of proper positioning of patients and correct operation of equipmentPerforms training and education dutiesParticipates in the orientation of new employeesResponsible for the training of studentsParticipates in the training of health care professionals and new employeesMaintains equipmentCorrectly operates equipmentOptimizes use of equipmentUnderstands the structure visualized and its significanceRequired QualificationsARRT CertificationMeet MRI Safety Screen requirementsBasic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association or American Red Cross and current before date of hirePreferred QualificationsAdditional education in Imaging or Healthcare1 year of experienceMRI Certification within 18 months of hire or transfer to the roleQualifications:$40.41-$57.05 Hourlyby Jobble
