Our Urgency Center setting brings the energy and challenge of emergency care, while maintaining the work-life balance of clinic hours.This is a great opportunity for technologists who thrive in a busy, high-volume environment and are eager to grow.Schedule:Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30 and 12:00pm-8:00pm (hours vary based on department needs)Saturdays: 8:00am-5:00pmSundays: 11:00am-5:00 pmEvery 6th weekendLocation: (may rotate to other locations within Mankato area based on needs)The CT Technologist works under general supervision to assist the Radiologist in performing diagnostic procedures for patients; and works effectively with patients and other Clinic staff.Perform diagnostic procedures as required; achieve a high level of film quality.Maintain proficiency and accuracy in IV starts during CT procedures.Conduct pre-visit planning by reviewing patient information and ensure follow through with associated administrative tasks to support patient care.Work closely with Radiologists, PSCs, and other modalities to foster a seamless patient care experience.Obtain medical information and history to aid the physician in diagnosis and treatment.Be proficient in the technical operation of all CT diagnostic equipment; use proper care in handling equipment.Direct technical aspects, recommends and implements new procedures in CT.Education and ExperienceFormal training which will be indicated by a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent; graduation from a certified Radiologic Technology Program; A.R.R.T. Certification; must be CT certified or eligible.
