for the better. Better Food. Better Future.Purpose: The Event Specialist position will manage internal process requirements and communications between the department s team members. This role contributes to the successful execution of all UNFI events and meetings, encompassing large tradeshow & industry expositions, as well as internal meetings. The Event Specialist will take on various tasks as assigned for all aspects of a program, research, list management, vendor relations and on-site execution.Job Responsibilities: Simultaneously execute numerous events of varying sizes, organizing and implementing booth shipping logistics and event participation. 10% Assist with group email distributions, requests, and responses through the team email alias. Works with planners on floor plan layout and table assignments 10% Responsible for establishing and maintaining effective communication coordination and working relations with internal company personnel and external customers (suppliers, production partners, hotel contacts, contractors, etc.).Job Requirements:Education/ Certifications/or Equivalent combination/Skills & Abilities
Bachelor s Degree required, preferably in communications, hospitality, public relations, marketing, or business Experience:
1-2 years of experience in a related field
