We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Product Mover - Temp Room for 2nd shift. The hours of operation are Monday-Thursday 415pm-245am with overtime on Fridays. E.A. • Team player promotes a friendly and positive work environment.
• Works with production to provide the right product and proper amounts on a daily basis.
• Report any questionable product to QC, Lead, Supervisor or Production Manager before sending it to the Prep Room.
• Must comply with USDA regulations and E.A. Sween policies.
• Must be able to read a schedule and/or queries to determine the supplies needed on a daily basis.
• Notify Supervisor and/or Lead of any issues of shortages of materials.
• Must be able to perform a physical inventory count by lots or pack dates daily, weekly or monthly and determine use by issues.
• Keep Temp room doors closed.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, organized work area.
• Maintain a good attendance record.
• Follow all standard work.
• Wear all required safety gear. ie: gloves, ear plugs.
• Must be flexible as it relates to the basic work schedule.
• Perform all activities in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices and company policies.
• Successfully complete the mandatory E.A. Sween quarterly safety training sessions for the purpose of complying with both OSHA regulations and E.A. Sween policy.
• Contribute to Lean activities.
• Other duties as assigned by your Supervisor and/or Lead. QUALIFICATIONS:
• Previous assembly line experience.
• Food related experience preferred.
• Must be able to communicate in English.
• All hires will need to successfully pass a drug screen and background check PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
• Must be able to work in cool conditions (32 degree room)
• Must be able to be on feet all day
• Must be able to bend, twist, turn, push, pull
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
