This is a challenging role that takes an ability to thoroughly review, analyze and research complex health care claims in order to identify discrepancies, verify pricing, confirm prior authorizations and process them for payment. You'll need to be comfortable navigating across various computer systems to locate critical information. Attention to detail is critical to ensure accuracy, which will impact the timely processing of the member's claim.
This position is full - time (40 hours / week), Monday - Friday. Employees are required to work our normal business hours of 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM including the flexibility to work occasional overtime and weekends based on business need. Our office is located at 11010 OPTUM CIRCLE, EDEN PRAIRIE, MN, 55344. -
Primary Responsibilities:

Provide expertise or general support by reviewing, researching, investigating, processing and adjusting Optum Pay enrollments
Analyze and identify trends and provide reports as necessary
Consistently meet established productivity, schedule adherence and quality standards
Safeguard transactions and escalate when applicable

• High School Diploma / GED (or higher) OR equivalent work experience -
  
• 1+ years of experience in a related environment (i.e., office, administrative, clerical, customer service, etc.), using phones and computers as the primary job tools
  
• Experience with Windows personal computer applications, which includes the ability to navigate multiple programs and learn new and complex computer system applications
  
  
• Ability to work any 8-hour shift between the hours of 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM including the flexibility to work occasional overtime and weekends based on business need
  
  Preferred Qualifications:
  
  
• 1+ years of experience with processing medical claims, financial banking, OR health care administration
