Description Robert Half is seeking a permanent Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk to become an essential part of a company's rapidly growing team. As the Accounts Payable Clerk, you will match, batch, and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. This dynamic department will provide you with opportunities for career growth and advancement. The Accounts Payable Clerk role will be situated in the Eden Prairie, Minnesota area and is a permanent employment.
How you will make an impact
- Organize, register, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents
- Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handling
- Open, sort, and distribute daily department mail
- Handle the administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department
- Fullfill full-cycle A/P
- Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner; ensuring compliance with company policies
- Provide internal and external audit assistance as required
- Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs
- Perform special projects as assigned Requirements - Ability to work within spreadsheets and databases
- 1+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred
- Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds
- Strong organization skills with a sense of urgency and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks
- AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
