Description: Works closely with Product Development to ensure that product design intent is appropriately documented and controlled using established drawing creation, BOM, up-date and control procedures. Assists in the development of improvements to document and data control methods and facilitates their implementation. In-depth knowledge of 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks & Creo Part modeling and detailing experience using 2-D and 3-D CAD Maintains Engineering documents such as drawings, part and assembly files and data from a control standpoint. Works with and understands PDM/PLM systems, preferably PTC Windchill. Maintain product libraries and drawings including updates, revisions and engineering change notice (ECNs) Experience with managing users/groups/product families and permissions Support upgrades, enhancements, and expansion of Windchill PLM capabilities and related PTC modules (Change management, license servers, ThingWorx etc.) Doc/Part/BOM management, version control, change management and file vault configurations Broad understanding of change management application framework in Windchill Hands-on experience working in various OS environments (Windows/Linux) and basic knowledge of SQL Experience using CAD tools, such as Creo, Solidworks, AutoCad, Altium designer etc. Document systems configurations and procedures, develop robust testing processes, scripts, and/or other procedures to ensure operational excellence of the Windchill environment Skills: Design, Solidworks, windchill, Creo, modeling, Mechanical design Top Skills Details: Design,Solidworks,windchill,Creo,modeling,Mechanical design Additional Skills & Qualifications: 5+ years mechanical design and PDM experience 3+ years Windchill 3+ years Solidworks ECAD and MCAD data collaboration and management Mentor and train other team members on Windchill best practices Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve issues and make recommendations Work with software technical support, account management consultants to resolve technical issues Experience Level: Intermediate Level About Actalent: Actalent connects passion with purpose.
