Strategic Data Management (SDM) team, the Data Governance Business
Analysis Consultant staff member will play a critical role to
establish OptumHealth Business Operations HouseCall's Data
Governance across Home and Community and create a scalable,
standard approach in how we collaborate across teams to get
alignment in data definitions, new data requests, changes to
existing data and maintain this information in a centralized Data
Governance platform. The Consultant is also going to assist with
policies/procedures, guidance documentation on approaches to
managing data, data projects and facilitate meetings as needed.
This is a challenging role that relies on your ability to
effectively lead and collaborate both internally and externally,
continue to monitor excellence in governance and get proper
alignment with stakeholders. Your ability to use various
methodologies and tools to collaborate in a cross-matrix
environment will drive long term success keeping the team on track
as you help roll out and implement data changes. This is a great

this area and collaborate across the organization. You'll enjoy the

take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities: * Leads,
develops and implements data standards, quality considerations and
approaches, a Centers of Excellence for Data Governance within
HouseCalls, Home and Community and connect broader with the
Enterprise Governance efforts * Advance the organization's thinking
of data governance concepts, explaining the benefits of data
governance within the context of the user's needs * Partners with
Business, Technical and Strategic Product to manage project
commitments in an agile framework; rapidly delivering value to our
customers via technology solutions * Develop documentation,
processes, PnPs (Policies and Procedures) and develop other
documentation to manage and govern data appropriately * Communicate
clearly and effectively in oral and written forms, and be able to
present and demonstrate work to technical and non-technical
stakeholders * Proficient in being able to work independently and

Required Qualifications: * 5+ years implementing, assisting or
managing Data Governance processes and approaches with clients or
internal to an organization * 5+ years of experience with at least
one of the following healthcare data types: HL7, FHIR, CCD, EMR/EHR
or EDI (Claims, Member, Remittances), or other healthcare data
structures and domains * Experience in data management processes
and tools and applications, including process mapping and lineage
toolsets (e.g. Collibra, Alation, Informatica, Erwin or other) *
Experience in process documentation, data specification
documentation and policies and procedures (or Standard Operating
Procedures) * Experience delivering results within a matrix
organization and influencing without direct authority * Experience
managing relationships across a variety of internal cross
functional departments, lines of business, and externally with
vendors and clients * Working knowledge of agile methodologies and
techniques Preferred Qualification: * Bachelor's Degree Soft
Skills: * Excellent oral and written communication skills with
respect to both technical and non-technical audiences across
various levels in the organization * Demonstrates critical
thinking, problem-solving skills, and time management * Highly
analytical, curious and creative * Solid organization skills, very
detail oriented, with careful attention to work processes * Takes
ownership of responsibilities and follows through on hand-offs to
other groups * Enjoys a fast-paced environment and the opportunity
to quickly learn new skills * Ability to work creatively and
flexibly, both independently and as part of a team * Experience
with or an interest in learning to work with complex healthcare

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York City, or
Washington residents is $85,000 to $167,300. Pay is based on
several factors including but not limited to education, work
experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary,
