Job Description:

Sr QA Automation, Typescript, AWS Ideally looking for local Minneapolis St Paul, MN. Also open to Plano, TX.

• SW Metro Office (of Twin Cities)
  • Ideally someone open to coming in office 1x/week (must be flexible to go onsite for various meetings, trainings, celebrations, etc. at the least) $60.00 - $80.00 / hour pay DOQ 6-12+ month contract w/ option to extend or convert to FTE
    
    Our long time and close client needs a Sr. QA to join their group! They work in a Scrum team model,
    
    This revenue-producing platform is moving onto the AWS Cloud and the new automation framework so, recent experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, WebDriver IO and Mocha Framework would be preferable. 2nd Option would be if someone has good object-oriented programming background and strong grasp on either C# or JAVA They should be able to adjust quicky. Would need to be comfortable and confident working a combination of Automation and Manual testing with a high focus on Automation testing. This product engineering division works on highly available web-based, ecommerce, loyalty and other sites / platforms.
    • Proven Software Dev in Test Engineer (coding and testing)
    • Ideally looking for hands-on experience with typescript, JavaScript, WebDriver IO and / or Mocha
    • Selenium
    • UI Testing
    • Exposed to automation testing tools, custom framework, ability to review C# and SQL scripts.
    • Proficiency to define highly complex automated test cases and scenarios.
    • Knowledge on Continuous Integration/ Continuous Deployment using Jenkins.
    • Knowledge in Maven, TestNG, Gradle and GIT.
    • Proficiency with web/rest services automation testing tools to include (but not limited to)
    • Worked and enjoys being within Agile / Scrum model Confidence and proven hands-on experience in answering questions about:
      • Objects, Methods, Classes
      • creation of automated scripts from scratch
      • OOP concepts
      • Loops and iterations
      • Creation of a reversal method
      • Problem solving examples
      • Ability to clearly articulate your approach to manual testing and automated testing
