The candidate in this position will be reporting to the Accounting Manager while attending to the general administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department. Matching and batching code, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L and processing checks are primary areas of focus. Based out of the Eden Prairie, Minnesota area, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a short-term contract / temporary opening with part time hours (roughly 30 hours a week). Please apply today or call 952.831.5970 and ask for Ted Klein or Kara Lien!What you get to do every single day- Manage department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it on a daily basis- Accurately execute daily processes and controls in a timely manner while ensuring company policies are followed- Verify, log and send checks, including facilitating special handling- Assist with internal and external audits as needed- Manage customer service tasks for internal business partners- Fullfill full-cycle A/P- Sort, log, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents- Execute additional tasks as needed- Assist the AP/Finance Department with administrative tasks
