**Summary of Position:**

As a Crew Lead of Rusty Taco, you will be responsible for assisting the management team in all restaurant activities. Crew Leads are well versed in all positions in the restaurant and have the potential to promote into management roles within Rusty Taco. Crew Leads must maintain professionalism, have strong communication skills, be enthusiastic, honest, trustworthy, dependable, a team player, and assist the General Manager where needed.

**Duties & Responsibilities:**

+ Supports the management team and takes on any task assigned by the General Manager.

+ Assists in managing staffing levels throughout the shift; makes appropriate business decisions on labor.

+ Ensures receipt of product/food from vendors; verifies correct invoice, product temperature, and quality assurance.

+ Assists the management team in new hire and existing team member training.

+ Ensures cleanliness of the entire restaurant; ensures that all equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurants preventative maintenance program.

+ Embraces training to have a clear understanding and the ability to perform every job in the restaurant.

+ Fills in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.

+ Ensures that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant's recipes, portioning, cooking, and serving standards.

+ Consistently complies with all health and food safety regulations at all times.

+ Other duties as assigned.

**Education & Experience:**

+ High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required.

+ 1-2 years of experience in a food service or retail environment is preferred, but not required.

+ Knowledge of Rusty Taco training procedures and materials.

+ Valid driver's license is required.

+ Must obtain Food Handler/Food Safety certification within 90 days of hire.

+ May require obtaining Responsible Alcohol Certification.

**Position Requirements:**

+ Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.

+ Ability to reach and move items from as high as six feet and as low as six inches off the ground.

+ Ability to remain in a stationary position for up to 6 hours without a break.

+ Ability to perform basic addition and subtraction to make correct change.

+ Ability to use hands, arms, shoulders, and back to build menu items for up to 6 hours.

+ Ability to work around industrial-strength cleaners.

+ Knowledge of basic computer functions (MS Word, Excel)

**Pay: $17.50 / hour**
