Press Brake Operator's in Bloomington, MN - $22.00 to $27.00/Hour DOE Our Press Brake Operator's workweek is Monday to Thursday with hours starting at 3:45 pm until 2: 15 am. This job is a Skilled Industrial type position that that pays $22.00 to $27.00/Hour DOE and is a Temp-to-hire opportunity. Press Brake Operator Duties and Responsibilities -- To setup and operate hydraulic and hydra mechanical press brakes- Perform setups on Press Brake utilizing part drawings and Bend Simulations.- Perform inspections using precision measuring and gauging equipment.- Perform and document all Job/Routing procedures as directed.- Perform material handling functions including packaging.- Assemble, Load and Maintain Tooling, Fixtures, Jigs, Etc.- Consistently maintain a neat and orderly work area.- Demonstrate high standards of Personal Conduct, Dependability, Versatility andCooperation.- Suggest ideas to improve job processes and inform manager of suggestions.- Provides adequate feedback to department manager when the job is not running within 20% of standard.- Provides adequate feedback to Department Managers/Engineering by using M.E.C.R forms and notes on the routing.- Working knowledge of punch and die configurations, tip radius and the effect on partgeometry- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 poundsAbility to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos; basic math skills, working knowledge of computer systems Press Brake Operator Requirements and Qualifications -- Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily- 1 year of CNC experience and/or training is required- High School diploma or GED required- Effectively communicate and understand job instructions in the English language- Ability to perform basic mathematical computations- Ability to lift 50 lbs. when required- Mandatory overtime will be scheduled weekly- Minimum of 3 years of Press Brake experience- Advanced blueprint reading.- Advanced sheet metal inspection experience- Working knowledge of controls for Cincinnati Press Brakes (Windows based)- Ability to calculate required tonnages and bend allowances- Ability to select proper tooling required to form a part (Acute, Gooseneck, Offset, etc.)- Ability to work on variety of material types and thicknesses- Setup experience specific to department or equipment- Sheet Metal Layout experience (Tangent Correction, Basic Bend Allowance Etc.)- Understanding of Material Properties including Flatness, Surface Grades, Types, Gauge etc.- Appropriate communication skills (Read, Write, Speak, Listen)- Flexibility- Team Player- Detail Oriented- Effective problem-solving ability- Self-motivated and ability to work independently How to Apply for Award Staffing's Press Brake Operator's in Bloomington, MNWe at Award Staffing are excited to speak with you about this fantastic opportunity to build your future!
