Stratasys is currently seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join our Eden Prairie Operations department. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and modification of polymer materials and processes and methods for manufacturing. Includes additional responsibility to identify the application and materials requirements to the production release of new materials and processes for printer equipment and applications. A couple of other duties will include:

  • Determine design approaches and parameters, analyze materials and material components to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests, and evaluate results
  • Completes documentation and procedures for processing, testing use of materials
  • Responsible for providing the systems, processes, and leadership to improve Stratasys penetration into new applications, markets, & materials
  • Provide innovative solutions to material development and processes


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (chemical, materials or related)
  • 8+ years experience in materials or process engineering
  • Expertise in polymer extrusion and compounding including establishing new processes and troubleshooting
  • Expertise in plastics processing equipment, and ability to specify equipment requirements
  • Proficient in polymer analysis methods and instruments such as rheology, FT-IR, DSC, TGA, MFI, DMA, GC-MS, etc.


  • Proficient use of CAD
  • Demonstrated leadership in scale-up of processes from lab to plant
