Laser Set Up/Operator This manufacture of precision metal components located South of the River prides themselves on quality workmanship and is seeking a like-minded individual to join their expanding team. With a 200,000+ sq. foot production space, you will be provided with up to date technology to be working on with training from a staff who provide direct expertise in their fields. POSITION " Laser Set-Up/Operator JOB LOCATION " Shakopee, MN STARTING DATE " Immediate, Upon resume review and interview EMPLOYMENT TERM " Regular, Temp-to-Hire EMPLOYMENT TYPE " Full-Time WORK HOURS (SHIFT) " 1st Shift (6:00am " 4:30pm) Monday-Thursday STARTING PAY " Depends on Experience, $18-$21 hourly BENEFITS " Medical, Vision, Dental, 401(K), Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, Referral Bonus REQUIRED EDUCATION " High School Diploma/GED. Tech school or college degree preferred. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE " At least 3-5 years of experience In this position, you will be responsible for programming, setting-up, operating, troubleshooting and performing ongoing maintenance of the Laser machine. (Trumpf and Bystonic) Responsibilities - Operate the Laser cutting machine to produce precision metal components based on client/customer specifications - Focus on attention to detail in each part(s) ran/produced - Perform general maintenance on laser equipment - Communicate status of jobs performed with upper management Qualifications - Proven skills in measurement, mathematical, fraction, decimal - Ability to read blueprints - 3+ years working in metal fabrication/laser cutting - Familiarity with the following materials; Aluminum, Beryllium Copper, Brass, Carbon Steel, Copper, Metal, Nickel Alloy, Nickel Steel, Sheet Metal, Spring Steel, Stainless Steel, Steel, Tempered Steel Please send your resume to Eagan@seekcareers.com.
