Process Operator - Electronic Assembly

Job Description:

We are currently seeking qualified individuals to work at a company in Eden Prairie. This is a great contract to hire opportunity for the right individual. We are looking for motivated, reliable, hardworking individuals that have either a previous background in assembly or working in the manufacturing field.

Responsibilities:

-Perform basic assembly operations (high volume repetitive)

-Operate test equipment (go/no go testing & ICT)

-Prep parts and hand place on board

-Mask & tape in Conformal Coating

-Pick and prep components and stage kits to production areas while maintaining high level of inventory

-Return unused parts to material part shelf

-Assemble kits, assemblies and/or subassemblies using detailed written, verbal, and/or diagram instructions and may create labels

-Perform operations: basic soldering, winding, adjusting, gluing, masking & centering under special magnification equipment to exact tolerances

-Inspect and evaluate own quality to conform to pre-established standards

-Maintain accurate production records

We have openings on the following shifts:

2nd shift, 3:30pm-2:00am Monday-Thursday ($12-12.50/hour, DOQ)

Weekend shift, 5:00am-5:30pm Friday-Sunday ($13-14/hour, DOQ)

Minimum Qualifications:

-High School Diploma or equivalent

-1 - 5 years of manufacturing experience, including experience in an MRP environment, preferred

-Must be able to read, write and otherwise communicate effectively in English

-Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

-Able to follow directions and maintain a safe, 5S environment

-Must listen effectively, possess a positive attitude, and cooperate well with team members

-Able to work in a fast-paced environment; can adapt to quickly changing priorities to ensure superior customer satisfaction
