Pay & Schedule Hourly Pay: $27/Hour Schedule: Monday-Thursday 6:00AM-3:00PM, Friday 6:00AM-12:00PM Pay Frequency: Weekly Employment Type: Evaluation-to-Hire Location: Pine City, MN Screening: No drug screen; background check required Benefits (Available from Day One) Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance Short-Term Disability & Life Insurance Sick Leave Employee Assistance Program Referral Bonus Program ($100 after referral works 100 hours) Key Responsibilities Coordinate machine shop activity to ensure work orders are processed on schedule Direct work orders to appropriate work centers for maximum equipment utilization Ensure quality and production goals are met; communicate equipment failures Track work?in?process and daily workflow; identify improvement opportunities Provide feedback on defects and support re?training as needed Assist with priority work orders by performing machining tasks Perform inspections using vision systems, complex equipment, and hand tools Stay current on machining developments, software, and industry trends Resolve or help resolve issues to prevent recurrence Work with management to determine best processes for work order completion Ensure preventative maintenance and shop supplies are maintained Support employees with re?programming and training needs Maintain positive communication with employees, customers, contractors, and vendors Provide machining/fabrication expertise for quoting new opportunities Qualifications Proven experience in fabrication and production management Deep understanding of Vertical CNC, Horizontal CNC, Lathes, and manual operations Ability to read and write programs at machining centers Strong leadership and communication skills Knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to safe practices Experience Required 8-10 years machining, tooling, and programming experience Ability to implement process improvements Ability to revise and update tooling and programming issues Education Requirements High School Diploma required Associate degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience Physical Requirements Work performed in loud production environment with extreme temperatures 40% standing; frequent bending, twisting, squatting, and extended?arm lifting Ability to lift up to 35 lbs; average part weight 5-15 lbs Requires strong manual dexterity Equipment Used Vertical CNC machines Horizontal CNC machines Lathes Additional Details Number Supervised: To be discussed in interview Travel: None Job Description: Available Attractive Aspects: Long-term stability and growth opportunity Long-Term Opportunities: Advancement in machining and leadership roles About Express Employment - Forest Lake, MN Since 2015, Express Employment Professionals in Forest Lake has partnered with over 300 businesses across the region to match top talent with rewarding job opportunities.
