RFA Engineering () is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to work from our Engineering Center in Eden Prairie, MN. The selected candidate will work with a team of developers to create and integrate new features and applications for next-generation agricultural vehicles. We have a highly collaborative work environment that is ideal for those who enjoy working as part of a team to solve complex problems.Job responsibilities include:

• Work in a structured software development process to design and implement new software features with yourteam to meet requirements.
• Work withArchitects, Systems Engineers andsubject matter experts to refine requirements.
• Participate in the Agile Scrum software development sprints with your team.
• Provide technical input and experience to junior team members solve complex problems.
• Participation in design reviews and helping the teamto meet quality and schedule delivery goals.
• Participate in lab activities to correlateand testagainst performance goals.Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience working in embedded product development includingdeveloping new features from scratch in multiple software/hardware architectures
  • Bachelor's or Master's of Science degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering,Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or related
  • Significant development experience with embedded C
  • Experience with CAN J1939 or other similar vehiclecommunication protocols
  • Demonstrated experience working in a structured developmentteam
  • Comfortable interpreting hardware schematics for wiring and electronic controllers
  • Strong verbal and written communication skillsDesired Attributes
    • Simulink MBSD and Stateflowexperience
