Job Description:
Purpose: - Contributes overall strategic vision and integrates a
broad range of ideas regarding systems software engineering.
Recognized across the organization for systems software engineering
expertise and sought as a resource for resolution of unique or
complex systems software engineering problems. Undertakes the most
complex systems software engineering projects involving multiple
disciplines and may impact multiple business units. Plans and
conducts assignments involving larger & more important projects.
Assists with the review and evaluation of personnel performance.
Evaluates progress, results, and recommends major changes in
procedures. Continually seeks ways to improve and enhance system
performance and data quality. Works with the entire development
team to ensure development conforms to performance optimization and
interoperability standards and requirements. Operates with
considerable latitude for unreviewed action or decision. -Job

Possesses a clear or deep understanding of the Company business
functions across all business segments with Subject Matter Depth
and Breadth knowledge level in at least 3 segments
Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge of a particular field
of specialization to the completion of significant assignments
Creates and delivers communications to executive management,
Technical Service and Business Leadership keeping them informed of
project status and progress
Provides status reports on all assigned tasks, projects, and work
efforts for assigned team(s)
Works with external vendors as needed to complete assigned tasks
and provides technical expertise in tool selections to align with
strategic enterprise solutions
Oversees physical data records/file design as required for
enterprise solutions and system solutions
Performs and leads others in designing, developing, modifying, and
evaluating applications, system interfaces and vendor supplied
software Oversees and mentor's others in the development of
enterprise and system test cases and test plans; coordinates and
conducts unit, system, integration, and user acceptance tests using
extensive experience in developing and setting up test plans and
test scripts Oversees review of work by technical and user staff
and advises on design and coding standards
Provides oversight and mentoring to ensure adherence to all
established department artifact standards and methodologies using
experience in program and system documentation preparation
Oversees adherence of team to department standards, guidelines, and
systems development methodologies
Resolves problems of high technical complexity using experience
with system analysis and problem-solving skills
Proactively works cross-functionally with other departments to
understand priorities and strategies to provide insight and
awareness on activities which can impact multiple teams
Understands and helps to drive UNFI's reference architecture
Understands project management methodology and mentor's others in
the resource planning and estimation process
Advises upper management on potential use of emerging technologies
- Performs other duties as assigned.Job Requirements:Education/
Certifications/or Equivalent combination of education training and
experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
preferredExperience: 8+ years relevant work experience

Preferred work experience in project planning and management
skills, encompassing scope of work, time estimation, and resource
assignment
At least four programming languages depending on the Technical
Service environment, one of which must be Web Development (JSP,
HTML, DHTML, XML, Java, EJB, WebLogic Platform 8.1 etc.) other
examples are (C++, .NET, Visual Basic, COBOL)
At least one case tool
At least one scripting tool
Database (SQL Server 7.0, Oracle, SQL, DB2)
Enterprise application tools (PeopleTools, SQR, Oracle tools,
etc.)
Extensive Experience in integration (internal & external)

Pay Range: $100200.00 - $193400.00 Annually ($48.17 - $92.98

including, but not limited to, education, experience, training, and
any requirements under applicable collective bargaining agreements.
