Role Type: Technical Platform Engineer - Kafka Containerization + Splunk

Description:
* Self-driven Devops professional with experience in Containerizing applications by properly estimating and sizing the infrastructure needs and - maintaining operational effectiveness by ensuring high availability and DR capabilities as needed.
*Containerize and deploy applications on to Kubernetes while continuously keeping track of performance/cost effectiveness and improve accordingly.
*Logging and Error Handling - to be taken care by using enterprise utilities like Splunk ensuring complete observability.
*Individual must be a self-starter with a zeal to explore and improve current processes.
Required Skills:
Strong experience in Docker
Strong experience on Kubernetes deployments and administration including sizing and setting up of High Availability environments - and Disaster Recovery setup. Also having exposure to scaling of environments as per loads.
Hands on experience on json, Yaml files, Helm charts, Services.
Hands on experience on implementing Logging and Error Handling setups to ensure complete observability.
Hands on knowledge on at least one of the build automation tools like Jenkins/ Git Actions
Work experience in Agile/Scrum Methodology
Working experience on Linux environment
Strong development skill on Shell Scripting / Python
Good understanding on Applications architecture and request work flow
Familiarity with cloud technology
Experience / Exposure to Snowflake/Kafka is plus
