Job Description:

RFA Engineering () is seeking a Senior -Embedded Software -Engineer to work from our Engineering Center in Eden Prairie, MN. - Qualified candidates will lead development -efforts and contribute to business growth strategy for -agricultural and construction machinery that is being revolutionized by advances in automation, autonomy and electrification.Job responsibilities include:

• Work with existing clients to provide technical leadership to projects and guidance to -less experienced RFA team members
• Engage with new client inquiries across a wide variety of machines and industries to select new technologies, -architectures and ecosystems
• Provide RFA management with feedback for strategic business planning related to software development
• Participate in and lead internal capability development projectsRequirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's of Science degree in Computer Science, -Electrical Engineering, -Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or similar
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • C and C++ architecture and programming expertise -
  • Previous experience in a structured software development process
  • Ability to interpret and create software requirements
  • Ability to interpret hardware schematics for wiring and electronic controllers
  • Experience with -CAN J1939 or similar protocols
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • General machine knowledge of industrial equipment or machineryDesired Attributes
    • Experience with Simulink Model Based Software Design
    • Experience with UI development tools and techniques
