Director of Technology is responsible for the production support
for a suite of IT applications and for the availability & stability
of IT applications within their scope and especially all that are
business-critical applications. In general, the Senior Director
must ensure that all application service levels are met and, to the
extent that they are not, sponsor and implement remediation
programs as appropriate. The Senior Director will be point of
contact for all application support related issues, questions, and
status updates. You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from
anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Maintaining solid relationship with customers, important
stakeholders and all internal parties and keep them informed about
all efforts and work breakdown
- Direct supervision of a staff of technology Managers and
analysts who will assist the Senior Director in carrying out the
needed responsibilities
- Ensuring availability of applications as defined by business
need per formal service level agreements
- Working with application owners and business partners to manage
priorities and to deal with issue resolution
- Recovery of applications even when a non-application incident
(e.g. a software failure) has necessitated remediation or
recovery
- Managing application and database changes to fix problems or to
restore services and ensuring that they are adequately tested and
that the potential impact to any up-line or down-line application
is also tested and coordinated
- Ensuring that applications are performing in a way that
maximizes business productivity, i.e. they meet on-line response
time service levels, batch reports are delivered as required by the
business and files are received and sent according to
business-defined criteria
- Ensuring that applications are performing at optimal levels as
defined by the business
- Managing application-level testing and support for changes in
other infrastructure areas (e.g. operating system upgrades,
hardware changes, security upgrades, etc.)
- Sponsoring, implementing, and managing process and productivity
improvement programs and preventive maintenance initiatives
- Managing the formal data collection and reporting on all
application-related service levels and periodic reviews with
customers and vendors You'll be rewarded and recognized for your

Required Qualifications:
- 20+ years of IT management experience (Familiar with all
lifecycle phases)
- 8+ years of Health care industry experience
- 5+ years of IT application maintenance & operations
experience
- 3+ years of team management experience
- Experience in supervising technical managers & leads
- Demonstrated strategic leadership of technical solutions

or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents
is $134,200 to $257,700. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada
residents is $134,200 to $257,700. Pay is based on several factors
including but not limited to education, work experience,
