Join us and start doing your life's best work.(sm) - -The m365 architect, an integral team member of end user technology, is a senior level architect role and will be involved across many aspects of architecture, design, build, engineering and implementation of technical solutions and capabilities within the m365 platform. -Responsible for new capability research and development, technical strategies, and trade-offs across various levels in the organization to gain buy-in. The m365 architect will provide recommendations and technical guidance to improve performance, reliability, and reusability within the constraints of budget, resource and business dependencies. - -You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. -Primary Responsibilities: -

  • Serve as a senior technical expert in Microsoft 365 Enterprise services and related technologies supporting a tenant of 300,000+ integrated employees & contractors -
  • Maintains a deep technical understanding of all aspects of Microsoft 365 including tenant management, license reporting, external (BYOD) access, external (B2B, B2C) collaboration, etc. -
  • Supports the development of Microsoft 365 strategy and roadmap deliverables -
  • Support operations in the configuration, implementation, and migration of new Microsoft 365 services -
  • Evaluates Microsoft 365 changes & updates and determines impact on clients -
  • Runs technical projects related to Microsoft 365 -
  • Maintains awareness of Microsoft 365 roadmap and releases -
  • Maintains an awareness of Microsoft 365 third-party solutions -
  • Supports practices, policies and operating procedures and ensures alignment to departmental objectives and strategy -
  • Understands effective communication across all levels of the organization (both upward and downward) with the appropriate message, the right tone and the appropriate level of impact -
  • Recognizes problems and is able to make recommendations/decisions on the best course of action to remediate. Resourceful at coming up with solutions using existing or available resources based on knowledge of the organization and level of execution effort -
  • Translates initiatives into actions through a thoughtful, organized and well-planned approach. Establishes measurement criteria and systems to track daily processes, implementation of new initiatives and value creation -
  • Work closely with and provide mentoring and guidance to junior team members -

    • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience -
    • 7+ years in technology architecture or engineering field(s) -
    • 7+ years supporting Microsoft 365 services, Azure Active Directory management -
    • PowerShell scripting experience -Preferred Qualifications: -
      • Microsoft 365 license management -
      • Enterprise grade tenant management experience -
      • Merger & Acquisition integration related experience -
      • Azure tenant consolidation experience -
      • Experience in working in an Agile environment -
      • -Solid foundation in server systems, virtualization, and networking -

The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $97,300 to $176,900.
