the design, development, implementation, testing and maintenance of
software in a systematic method. The roles in this function will
cover all primary development activity across all technology
functions that ensure we deliver code with high quality for our
applications, products and services and to understand customer
needs and to develop product roadmaps.These roles include, but are
not limited to analysis, design, coding, engineering, testing,
debugging, standards, methods, tools analysis, documentation,
research and development, maintenance, new development, operations
and delivery. With every role in the company, each position has a
requirement for building quality into every output. This also
includes evaluating new tools, new techniques, strategies;
Automation of common tasks; build of common utilities to drive
organizational efficiency with a passion around technology and
solutions and influence of thought and leadership on future
capabilities and opportunities to apply technology in new and
innovative ways. Manages and is accountable for professional
employees and/or supervisors. Impact of work is most often at the
local level.You will have the flexibility to telecommute* as you
take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities:
- Set clear goals in alignment with organization priorities
- Coach the team to meet performance objectives
- Work with performance issues as and when the need arises
- Participiate and contribute hiring engineering talent to help
mature the delivery model
- Maintain high levels of Employee engagement for respective
teams
- Work with cross functional teams (possibly outside the
portfolio) on enterprise initiatives - influencing without
authority
- Clearly communicate and bring alignment across multiple
delivery teams
- Work with diverse set of teams - operations, product, Quality
Management, etc. on enterprise initiatives from time to time
- Maintain accountability for the metrics for the
capabilities/apps/platforms - System Performance (Availability,
Page Load time, Stability), Productivity Improvement, Agile
Maturity, Raw Error Rate, etc.
- Provide leadership during Outage, war room calls
- Adapt to mature DevOps practices including process improvements
in support model handing customer incidents and operational
support
- Drive public cloud adoption and drive the transition from
On-Prem to Azure public cloud
- Own the capability/domain and drive improvement in business
outcomes by partnering with various stakeholders (product,
operations, Infrastructure, etc.)
- Meet all enterprise obligations like time accounting, staff
budget management, utilization, and productivity improvementYou'll

other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of experience in building highly scalable internet
facing applications both in the internal and external domains
- 4+ years of practitioner experience on Agile/DevOps
- Experience utilizing hands-on engineering skills with the
ability to debug products
- Experience engineering products/platforms of the cloud (moving
apps to cloud or building cloud native application) (prefer cloud
native)
- Solid experience utilizing Full stack development skills -
Springboot, J2EE, RDBMS/MS SQL, JavaScript (Angular)
- Solid knowledge and understanding of production monitoring of
apps/platforms including tools like Splunk/Dynatrace
- Solid knowledge and understanding of end-to-end web application
deployment in a data center - Multi-DC deployment and Traffic
Management (GTM vs. LTM) API Gateway (including security
management), Core vs DMZ deployment patterns
- Solid experience utilizing collaboration and inter-personal
skills with the ability to clearly communicate and work with
stakeholders up the hierarchy, within the team and across the
team
- Solid experience utilizing Cloud platforms like Azure or AWS
(Azure preferred)Preferred Qualification:
