  • Developing and deploying ITSM Principles and functions with a strong focus on managing initiatives and costs for the Optum Connect business
  • Design and develop innovative solutions to meet the needs of the business
  • Interact with business partners and other stakeholders including executive leadership
  • Provide technology leadership - Lead technology decisions, drive product implementation and delivery
  • Define and document standards and guidelines
  • Assists in development of systems and procedures affecting design and maintenance
  • Participate in product evaluations, design review session, data requirement meetings
  • Provide and support the Delivery Lead on operational issues
  • Provide execution \ delivery leadership - Support the implementation and drive it to stable state in production
  • Provide alternate design solutions along with project estimates
  • Troubleshoot production support issues post-deployment and come up with solutions as required
  • Drive the team and collaborate to meet project timelines
  • Review project deliverables for completeness, quality, and compliance with established project standards
  • Document and communicate the status of progress against plans, taking corrective action as necessary
  • Identify, clarify, and resolve project activity issues and risks, escalating them as needed
  • Review technical documentation to verify compliance with client requirements and established architectural standards and guidelines
  • Upholds enterprise policy guidelines and recommends new and improved guidelines ensures compliance with enterprise policies
  • Identifies Key Performance Indicators and monitors metrics
  • Lead and drive IT Service Management initiatives
  • Miscellaneous duties to support the Service Management Office overall
  • Ensure targets are met or exceeded for assigned Market(s) across all clients
  • Monitor Market level trends, risk and opportunities to continually evaluate ability to achieve established targets
  • Support new deals and the sales team in delivering on new client needs
  • Develop and grow a high performing team.     • 5+ years of IT Service Management
    • 2+ years of experience in implementing IT Service Management capability in Healthcare client environment
    • 2+ years of experience researching root cause of Incidents including workaround experience, temporary solutions, and final solutions in a collaborative environment
    • 2+ years of experience leading teams and/or managing workloads for team members
    • Client relations experience
    • Experience using ITSM applications e.g., ServiceNowPreferred Qualifications:
      • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
      • ITIL v3 certified

        • All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy.Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary/hourly range for Colorado residents is $110,200 to $211,700. The salary/hourly range for Connecticut/Nevada residents is $110,200 to $211,700.
