Job Description:
Insight Global is seeking an experienced agile product owner
with healthcare technology experience to join the Interoperability
sector of a large healthcare insurance company. This person will be
working on the clinical gateway; the ingestion, standardization,
automation, and distribution of clinical data. This position is
needed due to COVID immunization data being apart of the team's
scope, as well as the acquisition of population health work to
their scope as well. The team structure will change 2 - 3 times
over the next 12 months based on business needs, but will likely be
1 product owner, 1 tech lead, 5 software engineers and potentially
1 BSA.
Responsibilities:
- Work with tech teams, business users, and business partners to
understand and gather requirements, mitigating what the business
wants with what is possible for the engineers
- Write user stories and acceptance criteria
- Manage feature and user story backlog (groom features and user
stories, prioritize features and user stories)
- Lead daily stand up meeting
- Lead SCRUM agile ceremonies for the team (story and feature
acceptance, sprint planning, progress tracking, sprint
retrospective)
- Determine dependencies and negotiate solutions - Experience as an
agile product owner (2+ years)
- SAFE or scrum agile experience (1+ years)
- Experience with Rally (agile software) (1+ years)
- Some healthcare experience with clinical or medical claims data
(2+ years)
- RTE/Scrum Master project management experience
-Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships
Desired Skills - OSAM experience
- HL7 and / or FHIR experience
- Extensive healthcare technology experience
- Experience with Aha! (product roadmapping tool)
- Product manager experience / product management methodology
knowledge- Software development background (EMR integrator for
example)
