This role spans a broad range of data engineering, cloud engineering and software development activities including scope and requirements analysis, design, development, documentation, and support of new and existing healthcare systems, new supporting applications and web services, test execution, and managing defect resolutions. As a Lead DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate with software architects, engineering leaders, quality specialists, data engineers and other members of the engineering team to deliver high-quality products and solutions for our customers. Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and implement product features in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders
• Design and develop CICD framework for Azure to build, and deploy different data platform assets
• Design reusable components, frameworks and libraries
• Work very closely with architecture groups and drive solutions
• Participate in an Agile/Scrum methodology to deliver high-quality software releases through Sprints
• Review code and provide feedback relative to best practices and improving performance
• Troubleshoot production support issues post-deployment and come up with solutions as required
• Mentor and guide other software engineers within the team You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.
  
  Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience
  • 5+ years of data engineering experience
  • 4+ years of experience performing CICD with Jenkins, Terraform, GitHub etc.
  • 2+ years of experience with Azure or other cloud services
  • 2+ years of experience with MapR, Zookeeper, Hadoop and Calcite
  • 1+ years CICD experience with Jenkins, Github, Docker etc.
  • Experience delivering software using an Agile/Scrum methodology
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases Preferred Qualifications:
    • Solid experience implementing CICD pipeline of large-scale/high performance multi-tier data platform
    • Strong experience in automating build processes, application deployments and continuous integration
    • systems
    • Experience in object-oriented design and implementation
    • Solid understanding of formal architecture, design patterns and best practices
    • Understanding of SOA design principles
    • Working knowledge of APIs
