Starkey's product Livio AI was named to TIME's list of the 100 Best Inventions of 2019.Here's a video about how Starkey is redefining the hearing healthcare industry, which features 13 employees: RESPONSIBILITIES/RESULTS Assist in employee relations issues and questions Assist in rollout and maintenance of HR programs and practices Evaluate, progress and guide adjustments during organizational change Learn and follow organizational pay philosophy and supporting processes Diagnose and help managers diagnose performance problems Ensure clear performance expectations throughout the department(s) supported Introduce performance management processes, practices, tools and metrics Help identify "high priority" retention needs Follow best practices and policies to retain talent Identify individual, and departmental training and learning needs Responsible for the execution of internal HR processes with assigned client groups Conduct exit interviews of all voluntary terminations Conduct employee relation investigations Participate in any involuntary termination Facilitate trainings, presentations and meetings when necessary Partner with other areas of HR (total rewards, recruiting, Training & Development, etc.) to streamline processes and encourage collaboration. Partner with HRBP on:17.1Help ensure alignment of structure, governance, and policies with organizational strategy17.2Help develop change and communication plans for assigned managers17.3Help leaders/managers determine if/how to introduce change17.4Partner with business to map work-flow and processes17.5Support leaders and teams tasked with re-design17.6Support the development of "balanced scorecards" and other metrics for teams and business units17.7Other key initiatives directed by managerJOB REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree in human resources, business or related field or equivalent experienceExperience Minimum 5 years of experience in Human ResourcesExperience in all areas of HR is preferredExperience working at all levels of the company; executive to associate levelStrong understanding of employment law and compliance; knowledge of OFCCP, AA, Wage and Hour, FLSA, Non-Compete/Non-Solicit, NDA's and other relevant topics related to Human ResourcesCompetencies, Skills & Abilities (List additional competencies, skills, and abilities to be successful in the job, i.e. Ability to communicate details and requests with professionalism and accuracy)Strength with Organizational Design, and Employee RelationsMust be able to manage and prioritize competing demands; accept criticism and constructive feedback, while being adaptable and flexibleExceptional communication and presentation skills, interpersonal, and writtenConfidential Information:This position has access to personnel files, performance management information, salary information and termination informationRequired Communication:External: Communicates with outside agencies, vendors, and government agenciesInternal: Communicates regularly with managers and employees at all levels of the company
