Job Description:
We are currently seeking a talented, enthusiastic individual to
join our Learning and Development Department. The Learning and
Development Instructor will be responsible for technology
solutions, process development, procedural resources, and training
specific to Audit, Accounting Advisory, IT Risk Advisory and
Business Transaction Group departments.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create, train, and refresh new hire technical training content
for onboarding Audit, Accounting Advisory, IT Risk Advisory, and
BTG employees in conjunction with L&D Director, partners in
charge (PICs), and designees
- Design and implement practice area efficiency processes in
collaboration with L&D Director, PICs and designees and
reevaluate for relevancy on an ongoing basis
- Develop and teach hands-on coursework on select client-serving
software products or other requested topics in cooperation with
L&D Director, PICs, and designees
- Communicate course offerings, curriculum content, timing,
attendee requirements, and any special instruction to L&D
Specialist for centralized management
- Review training feedback evaluations and modify training
content for continuous improvement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with PICs and key
leaders to identify knowledge gaps and develop a strategy to fill
the gaps for Audit, Accounting Advisory, IT Risk Advisory, and BTG
groups
- Address procedural concerns or suggestions raised by
departments and initiate solutions in conjunction with L&D
Director, PICs, and designees
- Update firm-customized attest forms and letters templates
annually and as directed by the Quality Review department
- Contribute to Firm financial statement knowledge library
development, learning the overall developer function and writing
new template content for approval by L&D Director
- Maintain a proficient level of knowledge pertaining to
accounting, systems, and software used to provide high-level
solutions to firm clients
- Resolve questions across all departments requiring an
understanding of accounting and software tools
- Work with IT and software vendor support teams to facilitate
the employees' technical experience
- Perform new release testing of select software products and
coordinate deployment instruction L&D Director and IT
- Calculate and approve licensing renewal for assigned software
products
- Review new product solutions to explore further automation and
efficiency as assigned
- Serve as a backup trainer for onboarding Estate and Trust and
Employee Benefits employeeQUALIFICATIONS AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a mix of related education
and experience
- 3+ years of relevant experience within audit or accounting
- Ability to evaluate and learn new technology solutions
- Strong computer skills with a proficiency in Microsoft Office
Suite
- Strong project management capabilities
- Utilize successful problem-solving skills
- Communicate effectively in both written and verbal capacities
in English
- Strong interpersonal skills, a team-based attitude, and a
desire to collaborate
