Job Description Shift Supervisor - Mankato, MNThis is a full-time, exempt position. This position supervises daily activities of a soybean processing plant. Job Description:assist in workflow and schedulingimplement operational proceduresenforce company plans, policies, and rulesuse experience and judgment to plan and achieve goalscontribute to goals and objectives of department and plantmonitor and record operational changes in procedures/process swingsdetermine direction of safe and efficient operation consistent with management's daily objectivesmaintain an environment free of unrelated work issues that would hinder employees in the facilitytroubleshooting and problem solvingCommitment to ADM's goal of achieving a zero injury culture by being an active participant in safety programsUnderstand and follow company safety proceduresJob Requirements:Promotes the ADM Way and Core ValuesBe active and participate in safety programsLearn and follow written rules and proceduresProduce accurate documentationHigh school diploma or equivalentRegular, prompt attendance is expected and the ability to work 12 hour shifts, weekends and holidays (vacancy will be on the 2nd, 3rd or relief shift)Able to work in a variety of conditions, such as hot and cold temperatures, dusty environmentsAble to climb stairs, bending, kneeling, lifting, sitting/standing for long periods of time, work with heights and confined spacesGeneral computer knowledge (Familiar with Microsoft Outlook, data entry skills)Excellent oral/communication skillsLeadership characteristics, able to motivate others and demonstrate team building skillsProactive involvement in safetyStrong organization and documentation skillsStrong interpersonal and conflict management/resolution skillsGood mechanical skills preferredAble to represent management professionally and efficiently to internal/external customersExcited about this role but don't meet every requirement listed?
