Job Description Job Description Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2 years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is available for an experienced Operating Room Technician (ORT) with strong expertise in neuro and orthopedic procedures, including total joints and ortho trauma. This contract position is based in Burnsville, MN, offering day shifts of 8 hours, with 32-40 hours per week during regular weeks and 24-32 hours per week during holiday weeks. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Minimum of 2 years recent experience in neuro, orthopedic trauma, and total joint support surgeries Proficiency with Epic and DaVinci surgical systems Experience in urology procedures is essential Active NBSTSA or NCCT certification required at time of application Current BLS certification Ability to support multiple same-day surgery centers as needed (Burnsville, Shakopee, St. Louis Park, Maple Grove) Responsibilities: Prepare operating rooms for neuro, ortho trauma, total joint, and urology cases Assist surgical teams by ensuring proper instruments and supplies are available Maintain sterile field and follow established safety protocols Float between designated same-day surgery centers as needed Support seamless patient care through accurate and timely surgical assistance Location:Burnsville, MN, offers a vibrant community with easy access to both urban amenities and outdoor attractions.
