Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity
is for a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide specialized
services in a school setting located in Anoka, MN. This contract
position offers a flexible schedule with a part-time commitment
ranging between 0.2 and 0.4 FTE. The caseload typically includes 15
to 20 students, depending on the FTE allocation. Responsibilities
include supporting and enhancing the fine motor skills of students,
with a strong focus on handwriting. The occupational therapy team
consists of one full-time licensed OT (OTR/L) and two full-time
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs), who deliver most
of the direct services. The team employs the Handwriting Without
Tears curriculum and regularly integrates Interception intervention
techniques to address student needs effectively. Key
responsibilities: Assess and develop individualized occupational
therapy plans focused on fine motor skills, especially handwriting
Collaborate closely with COTAs to implement therapy sessions and
monitor progress Utilize Handwriting Without Tears curriculum and
Interception intervention as part of therapy services Adjust day
and time schedules to meet the designated FTE requirements with
flexibility Communicate regularly with educational staff, families,
and students to support student development Qualifications:
Licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) credential required
Experience working in school-based occupational therapy preferred
Familiarity with handwriting curricula, especially Handwriting
Without Tears Knowledge and training in Interception intervention
Strong communication and collaboration skills Location: Anoka, MN

Compensation for this position ranges from $28.78 to $58.78.
