Team as a Locum Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine in Minnesota
Are you a dedicated Nurse Practitioner with a passion for providing
exceptional patient care? We are seeking a motivated and skilled
Locum Nurse Practitioner to support general medicine services
across Minnesota. This vital role offers flexibility, competitive

excellence. In this role, you will perform Compensation & Pension
exams and Separation Health Assessments primarily through
interview-based evaluations complemented by physical assessments.
You will be an integral part of a national effort to serve our
nation's Veterans, delivering high-quality assessments with
efficiency and professionalism. This position offers ongoing, PRN
work with flexible scheduling to suit your availability, including
half-day and full-day shifts, all within a supportive environment
that values your expertise. Required Skills: Valid Nurse
Practitioner (NP) license in Minnesota Experience in general
medicine, internal medicine, family medicine, or related fields
Strong evaluation and assessment skills Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills Ability to perform physical assessments,
including range of motion and muscle strength testing Proficient in
documenting clinical findings and preparing reports Competent in
managing multiple assessments efficiently Nice to Have Skills:
Prior experience with Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams or
military/veteran health services Familiarity with government or VA
health assessment procedures Certification in additional
specialties such as orthopedics or occupational health Ability to
work independently in a private office setting Preferred Education
and Experience: Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) or higher Minimum
of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in general or
internal medicine Prior experience with assessments or evaluations
for veterans is advantageous Other Requirements: Own a private
office within a 25-mile radius of designated Minnesota locations
(Detroit Lakes, Bemidji, Rochester) Ability to commit to ongoing,
flexible scheduling—1 to 2 days per week Willingness to complete
required credentialing and onboarding processes promptly Access to
reliable internet and efficient communication tools No travel
reimbursements are provided outside of the included local travel
within rates Enjoy competitive hourly pay—$402.00 per hour—with
rates inclusive of local travel. Benefits include weekly pay via
direct deposit, comprehensive medical coverage (W-2), paid sick
leave in accordance with applicable laws, a robust referral bonus

engagement. Additional reimbursements for licensure, certification,
travel, and other qualifying expenses are provided as applicable.
