Job Description:
This surgical nurse role involves preparing patients for
surgery, including reviewing history, administering medications,
positioning, and monitoring vital signs.
Performing post-operative assessments, managing patient recovery,
pain, and potential complications.
Collaborating with surgeons and anesthesiologists to ensure patient
safety and effective care.
Maintaining clinical documentation and educating patients and
families about surgical procedures and care.
Ensuring a safe, clean environment and adhering to infection
control standards.
Must have an active nursing license in Louisiana and BLS
certification; OR experience is preferred.
This role emphasizes teamwork, communication, compassion, and
delivering exceptional, personalized care in a dynamic operating
room setting.
