Position Summary
Are you a visionary leader and compassionate clinician ready to
shape the future of pediatric anesthesia care? The Advanced
Practice Provider (APP) Associate Medical Director for the
Department of Anesthesia plays a key role in advancing clinical
excellence across our Minneapolis campus-home to the state's
largest Level I pediatric trauma center-and our thriving,
high-volume ambulatory surgery center in Minnetonka.
In partnership with the Medical Director of Anesthesia and the
System Director for Perioperative Services, the APP Associate
Medical Director will lead with purpose-driving innovation,
quality, and inclusivity across the department. This individual
will help shape and implement care delivery strategies, foster team
engagement, and ensure our clinical practices meet the highest
standards of safety, effectiveness, efficiency, timeliness,
patient-centeredness, and equity.
This leadership role blends direct clinical care with meaningful
administrative influence. You'll mentor and support APP colleagues,
champion continuous improvement efforts, and collaborate across
disciplines to elevate outcomes for the patients and families we
serve.
It is no secret that this is a dynamic and evolving time for nurse
anesthetists. This position offers both challenge and
reward-mentoring peers, helping lead a high-functioning
perioperative team, managing through change, and setting the
standard for pediatric anesthesia care in our region.
