Job Description:
One of our major clients in the Eden Prairie area is currently
seeking Certified Pharmacy Technicians (CPhT). These are full-time
positions that will entail working in a closed-door long term care
pharmacy. The Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) is responsible
for entering new and refill prescriptions, speaking with facilities
regarding medication clarification, and consulting with Pharmacist
about orders. The ideal candidate will be responsible and
professional. Must be able to multi-task and work well in a fast
paced environment. Punctuality and good attendance are a
requirement.Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) Description:*
Pharmacy Technician Certification is required as well as pharmacy
experience* Assisting with pharmaceutical preparation,
distribution, and keeping records under pharmacist supervision*
Entering house stock orders, refills, controls and E-Boxes* Report
medication errors to PIC as they occur* Consult with Pharmacist
about clinical situations* Track delivery status of medications*
Understanding basic insurance* Emailing new admits to appropriate
department* Willing to go the extra mile to help patients and
co-workers* Must be reliable* Must work well in a team
environmentCertified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) Qualifications:*
PTCB Certification Preferred, but not required.* Proven experience
as a pharmacy technician (1-2 years Minimum)* Frameworks experience
a plus* Strong problem-solving skills* Effective communicator*
Quick and independent learner* Flexibility to work overtime,
holidays and weekends as needed* Ability to lift and/or move up to
25 pounds* Knowledge of Pharmacy law and medical terminology*
Successful completion of a pharmacy technician program#PhTJob Type:
