We are currently seeking a Clinical Activity Manager to join our team. They will be responsible for the development, implementation and outcomes analysis of OptumHealth Education's (OHE) accredited educational activities. This position will work with entities within the UHG Enterprise and external partners to deliver educational activities on topics related to patient management, and to offer information for the health care team to apply in their clinical practice or in the managed care setting. You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities: * Develop a needs assessment/statement of need, gap analysis, planning documentation, research educational topics, creation of learning objectives, develop pre/posttest questions, write faculty bios, and evaluate activity outcomes reports * Maintain adherence to the Joint Accreditation Interprofessional Continuing Education standards. Research, source, engage and recruit Subject Matter Experts for educational activities * Review presentation materials to ensure accreditation compliance, and education meets the learning objectives for the activities for which they have been recruited * Develop agendas for on-site/virtual educational conferences held by OHE * Maintain relationships with internal and external clients and subject matter experts to ensure successful collaboration and delivery of accredited educational activities * Assist in self-study development (to be compiled every 4 years per Joint Accreditation Committee requirements) * Identify and implement modalities to expand OHE educational platforms to include newsletters and podcasts * Applies for and maintains CE for application accreditation associations and boards (e.g. American Academy of Family Physicians, American Association of Professional Coders) as needed You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: * Must have one of the following professional licenses: RN, PA, NP, RPh or MD * Ability to work in a team environment, leading groups of personnel toward defined goals * Ability to collaborate and partner with both internal and external stakeholders * Travel 15% * If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener.
