The hearth is the center of the home and family life.As a Director, Product Portfolio, you will be responsible for effectively managing a product portfolio through its lifecycle to grow sales, profitability and market leadership. This role requires a forward-thinking approach to anticipate market trends, competitor actions, industry developments and technological advancements, ensuring our competitive advantage. This role will collaborate and influence cross-functionally with various departments, including Market Insights, Innovation & New Products, Operations, Sales and Marketing. Your efforts will be key to achieving both the short-term and long-term goals and objectives of the company.Responsibilities

• Own and report financial performance of your product portfolio (sales and gross profit).
• Manage product profitability and commercial success throughout the lifecycle of your product portfolio (including positioning, go-to-market strategy, communication and sales tools.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
• Communicate insight, product vision, strategy, and roadmap to stakeholders at all levels.
• Define and prioritize product initiatives based on business value, customer impact, and feasibility.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product performance in the market.
• Develop and own the new product roadmap.
• Direct supervision of a Product Portfolio Manager.Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 10 or more years of progressively responsibility and successful experience in product portfolio management.
  • Consumer goods, home, or building products industry experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Financial acumen - strong understanding of market dynamics and the financial impact of product portfolio decisions, enabling sound investment choices.
  • Prioritization - ability to identify and prioritize gaps in portfolio for new products, profitability improvement targets for cost/quality improvements, modifications to positioning and key messages for marketing modifications, pricing/go-to-market sales tools for improving sales performance of product portfolio.
  • Strategic vision - ability to see the big picture and think both short-term and long-term to develop actionable and well-defined strategic plans.
  • Communication Skills - ability to clearly and effectively communicate both to internal and external stakeholders for successful influence.Competitive compensation, including base salary and annual bonus:
