Minority/Female/Veteran/Disability Role Summary: The Senior
Planning Manager, Network Capacity is responsible for the end to
end coordination of production essential to our operations. In
addition, this individual will have a strong aptitude to balance
service, cost effectiveness, and the movement of both raw materials
and finished goods across our network. This individual will work
closely with Planning to right size inventory of materials, plants,
Contract Manufacturing, and the rest of the Supply Chain to manage
all risks and opportunities. The position requires strong skills in
analytics, negotiations, vendor management and the ability to
manage a strong, cohesive team that is results driven and strives
for continuous improvement. Essential Competencies of the Role (3 -
5 Primary Areas):
- Production and Distribution Analytics
- Ability to build and execute to a plan across Production
locations and Third Party
- warehouses to ensure high levels of Customer Service at the
best possible cost.
- Ability to collaborate with vendors to offset price and service
impacts that may occur throughout the year.
- Customer trends
- Ability to review and adjust demand and make necessary
judgements.
- Create Key Process Indicators that inform the organization of
decision making.
- Create a Cross-functional team, and a process, to inform the
business on key outlooks.
- Information Data Management
- Supports the management of materials and finished goods to
address concerns of service and cost as identified.
- Participate in the analysis, investment in, and implementation
of a Manufacturing Production System.
- Supply Data
- Active in MRP and Inventory management to ensure Supply is
provided to execute production plans.
- Leadership
- Manage and mentor team of co-workers to promote development and
growth. Required Qualifications:
- Requires B.S. Degree in business or related field
- Requires minimum 5-10 years' previous experience inPlanning
across.
- Must have a proven track record of strong analytical
skills.
- Must have a proven track record of working with cross
functional teams, to include external partners, to achieve best in
class solutions.
- Must be driven and energized by the challenge of intense vendor
negotiations and product cost savings initiatives.
- Measure and communicate end to end KPIs for the Operations
team.
- Must have excellent written, verbal and presentation
skills
- Must be creative and self-motivated with strong leadership
skills
- Ability to implement a Risk Assessment program by Product,
Customer and Supplier. Demonstrate proven results in identifying
ways to mitigate risk within the Supply Chain. Preferred
Qualification (if Applicable):
- Prior multi-site network experience
- Overall supply chain experience with complete understanding of
the associated metrics.
- JDE experience Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Generally, an office/desk position using a computer and
telephone
- Must be willing to travel up to 10% of the time
- Must be willing to be in production areas of approximately 40
degrees up to 10% of the time
- Must be highly motivated and willing to work in a fast paced
environment
